Afternoon glint

Missabefan's picture

With the Mayan apocalypse fear over and people singing a verse or two from Barry Manilow's "Looks like we made it", today was also one of those days when a person could pull off a steaming pellet glint shot at 1530 in the afternoon thanks to today being the first day of winter or Winter Solstice.

The Code Blue conditions were there as was a train to make it possible. The temperature was 5 degrees above zero and the day was filled with Mother Nature having some fun at the expense of CN with rail break a parts and other cold weather related issues happening.

Soon we will be complaining about high sun!

Take care, stay warm and remember, don't lick the flagpole.
